We specialize instead of generalize.
Our work centers on second-degree BSN admission for international students, not every country, major, or degree type.
About NurseNorth
NurseNorth is a family-led admissions support studio for international students pursuing U.S. second-degree BSN programs.
We focus on the narrow path where program eligibility, prerequisites, funding, licensing rules, and visa timing must all be understood before a student commits.
We are not a general study-abroad agency. NurseNorth works on one specific route: international applicants targeting accredited U.S. accelerated or second-degree BSN programs.
The Story
Reliable guidance for this path is harder to find than it should be. That gap is the reason this work exists.
When we started researching U.S. second-degree nursing programs, we found endless content for engineering, computer science, MBA, and general study-abroad applicants. We found far less that explained what international students actually face when applying to accelerated or second-degree BSN programs.
The important details were scattered across program pages, prerequisite grids, clinical policy notes, state Board of Nursing requirements, funding rules, and visa timelines. Some information was outdated. Some was contradictory. Much of it assumed the student was domestic.
NurseNorth was built to do that careful work openly and alongside students: read the fine print, identify realistic programs, map prerequisites, pressure-test costs, and keep families clear about the trade-offs before money and time are committed.
What Makes Us Different
Our work centers on second-degree BSN admission for international students, not every country, major, or degree type.
Program lists, prerequisite rules, CGFNS implications, and licensing constraints are checked against current institutional sources.
Families need the full picture: cost, timeline, visa risk, licensure steps, and what happens after graduation.
Principles
These are practical boundaries. They protect students from vague promises and protect the quality of the work.
We tell applicants when the path is not realistic yet, even when that is not the easiest answer to give.
We coach structure, positioning, and evidence. We do not write essays for students or manufacture stories.
We are paid by students and families, not universities. There is no commission for pushing a school.
We can help students understand admissions and planning implications. Immigration legal advice belongs with a qualified attorney.
Who We Work With
Best fit for international applicants who already hold a non-nursing bachelor’s degree and want a realistic U.S. second-degree BSN application plan.
This is often a family financial decision. We help families ask sharper questions before committing to a costly route.
